“We are excited to show our community this great space. This building means hope to so many low income, working families in our community and provides additional resources and easier access to services.” says Chelsea Salifou, Executive Director, of Heartland Hope Mission.

Senator Robert Hilkemann is scheduled to speak at the event. Additional guests include: local business owners, community leaders and government officials.

The South Omaha pantry held its first food pantry in the new building Saturday, May 9, 2015. Prior to moving, Heartland Hope Mission served its clients from three separate buildings on 21st and Q Streets. Two of the buildings are currently for sale.

In addition to food, Heartland Hope Mission supplies clothing and hygiene products and provides referrals to additional resources and financial classes.  This faith-based charitable organization is located at 2021 U Street in Omaha. All items are distributed locally.
